Airplant hanging in a ceramic planter made of egyptian turquoise coloured clay. More exactly this clay contains some minerals of the famous egyptian turquiose gemstone. In some parts it might have a more brownish patina, in other parts it is just bright tourquoise. This one has a black makramé cord with some beige details and 4 small golden woven-in rings. Alternative colours are available upon request.

Airplants are members of the same family as pineapples. They are indigenous to Central and South America. In most cases they grow on rocks or trees, held by their roots. They don‘t use their roots to take nutrients from the soil. So they don‘t need soil – just air, love, light and water! They like swinging within the air, even upside down in your livingroom or outside during summertime!
