This airplant hanger is designed as a wallhanger. Of course it looks also great hanging in a window. The ceramic piece is made of terracotta clay, matt without glaze. The airplant just sits inside its hole and you can remove and water it easily. The thick cord is made of plant fibre and can be fixed on any nail/hook easily with a small wire (wire included). The airplants we use for these kind of hangers are another specie, they have a special beauty and sometimes they even flower.

about airplants
Airplants are members of the same family as pineapples. They are indigenous to Central and South America. In most cases they grow on rocks or trees, held by their roots. They don‘t use their roots to take nutrients from the soil. So they don‘t need soil – just air, love, light and water! They like swinging within the air, even upside down in your livingroom or outside during summertime!
