Airplants are members of the same family as pineapples. They are indigenous to Central and South America. In most cases they grow on rocks or trees, held by their roots. They don‘t use their roots to take nutrients from the soil. So they don‘t need soil – just air, love, light and water! They like swinging within the air, even upside down in your livingroom or outside during summertime!
