LETO – CHILDBIRTH GODDESS, special mini edition “babyboy” (mini wish card)

In the classical period of Greek mythology, Leto was a childbirth goddess, who gave birth to divine twins in the human natural way. She is the mother of Artemis and Apollo, Zeus was their father.
Hera, jealous of her husband’s love for Leto, had refused Leto to give birth on neither the mainland nor an island. In an advanced stage of pregnancy, Leto was searching all around Hellas for a place to stay. Finally she came to Delos, the only place safe enough.
Leto is illustrated with a lightning torch in her hand to indicate that sth. new is coming.
